Our Wound Management ProgramSM provides integrated patient care through its four components:
- Outpatient Wound Care Center® - Wound Care Center’s, Inc. managed outpatient wound care clinics within hospitals nationwide.
- Inpatient Component - has assisted hospitals in standardizing wound therapy decreasing acquired wounds and improving the overall quality of patient care, while reducing costs. Savings can result from reduction in length of stay, wound dressing and supply costs, specialty bed overlay costs and decreases risk of management liability.
- Outreach Component - has helped hospitals provide onsite wound care to the post-acute community in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities. The outreach component also supports length of stay reduction in the hospital acute care setting.
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) - has improved healing in specific types of wound care patients, reducing the time to heal.
