| Wound Care Centers, Inc. utilizes a multidisciplinary approach |
All essential components of optimal wound care are coordinated by an interdisciplinary team of physician and clinical wound specialists and is delivered onsite at the Wound Care Center®. Each patient is followed throughout the course of treatment by a clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Available diagnostic services include laboratory assessment, radiology, angiography, and bone scanning. Treatment options include revascularization, infection control, wound debridement, surgical repair, nutritional guidance, rehabilitation, home health services, and patient education. Adjunctive therapies, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), growth factor therapy or grafts using living skin equivalents may be offered. When your patient uses the resources of a Wound Care Center, you can have confidence that we will treat the wound while you continue to manage other aspects of your patient's health. When the wound is healed, we will provide you with a case study and wound healing graph that will assist you in developing a continuing plan of care for your patient. Case studies and patient progress reports are provided. |
